ED途径

The Entner-Doudoroff (ED) pathway is one of three pathways found in nature, that feed into the bottom half of glycolysis, which is central to intermediary metabolism. Overall the ED and EMP pathways are very similar. In both pathways 6-carbon sugars are phosphorylated and cleaved by an aldolase into two 3-carbon intermediates. One main difference is the nature of the substrates for aldol cleavage: In the EMP pathway it is fructose-1,6-bisphosphate, while in the ED pathway it is 2-keto-3-deoxy-6-phosphogluconate (KDPG). 1. G-6-P还原 2. D-glucono-δ-lactone-6-phosphate水解 3. 6-phospho-D-gluconate 脱水
