Food safety issue Lipton accident Lipton accident Recently ,a new accident about food is catching chineses attention. It was reported that Liptons pesticide reside go hehind the international standard by investigation . Lipton tea was tested to have some poisonous substance .If people drink this tea in a long time ,it will cause great damage to the drinker.The public want a reasonable explain of this accident. Why our food isnt health ? But , Ministry of agriculture give the wrong answer to this question. They claimed that it was necessary to use pesticide to maintain the production of agriculture . It is impossible that the corp dont have any pesticide reside. And no pesticide reside is just ideal. And if we dont use it anymore, we will suffer the crop failure. What is the pesticide What function do it have? Pesticide are the chemicals which farmers put on their crops to kill harmful insects and adjust the speed of developing. It kill the harmful insects and protect the crop. Farmer use it to ensure the production of agriculture. In other words ,the pesticide make the farmers life more stable . It will reduce the risk of the crop failure. The develop of agriculture cant leave pesticide. The problem of pesticide reside seems we cant avoid. So , what can we do to make the agricultural product more health and safe to eat ? Peopel spent some time thinking about it .People want to find a exact way to solve the problem,not a excuse. People should find a more reasonable way to use pesticide,which can reduce the pesticide reside and not do harm to human beings body.
