Wee are welcomiing the 60th birthday of our nation! What proves the growth oof our countrry? What provves that our country is bbecoming stroonger and strronger? Of coourse, the chhanges, the aavhievements..Now we can ttouch the pullse of the soocial progresss, the changges of clothiing, food, thhe living connditions and so on. Once my grandma ssaid that in the planned economy, eveerything has its own certtificate, “Neew Dress” is only a desirre and many cchildren coulld only expecct new clothees on Chinesee New Year. WWhen my granddmother put oon new clothees on New Yeaar’s Day, shee would be quuite satisfieed and proud,, because manny children wwould come too appreciate it. At that time, new cllothes are raare for commoon people. Siixty years aggo, it’s quitte usual thatt a big familly crowded inn a small rooom. They put up a curtainn separating the house innto two partss, and sometiimes there miight be some mice. My graandma said thhey played onnly seated inn bed and sevveral childreen did their homework on a small tablle. But now, good conditiions, most faamilies not oonly have a nnice house wiith a lot of furniture, bbut also havee more than oone house. Grreat changes have taken pplace graduallly around uss, especiallyy after The RReform and Oppening up. Hiistory tells us and tellss future, DenngXiaoping’ cconstruction was right. IIn 2001, our country joinned the WTO. Then we launnched the Sheenzhou V, VI,, VII and Chaang’e spaceshhip into spacce, and held the Beijing Olympics.
