Language說课稿
Good morning, ladies and gentlemen, honorable judges. My name is XXX. It is my great honor to be here to share my lesson with you. This chance is very precious for me and I will cherish it. The lecture I choose to illustrate is taken from reading section of unit two, Language, Module three of Advance with English. My teaching plan includes the following four parts. They are: analysis of teaching material, teaching methods, teaching procedure and feedback after-class. And while presenting these parts, I will do the blackboard design properly. Now I will move on to the first part.
Part1, Analysis of teaching material
(1)Status and function
section deals with a typical history article which is about the history of different language levels. It mainly talks about how English has developed and why it has some strange rules. The unit provides a chance for students to gain some knowledge about English and its history. It is the first time to refer to history article in the reading books. Therefore, students should learn how to read a history article. The reading strategy of this unit teaches students the writing features in a typical history article and effective ways to read those articles. After studying this passage, we will be clear about the development of English and why languages are changing all the time.
(2)Analysis of the knowledge level and study characteristics of high school studentsmethods.
(3)Teaching aimsthe teaching material, I choose the following points as the teaching aims.
(ⅰ) Knowledge aims
To help students grasp the usages of new words, phrases and important sentence structures.
To improve students’ understanding of English language and its changes over a long period of time.
(ⅱ) Ability aims
To improve students listening and speaking ability by reading and practicing the passage and retelling the passage in their own words after studying this article.
To strengthen students’ reading comprehension skills like skimming and scanning and apply these sk
