Thinking of consumers are Wal-marts objective, Wal-mart provides the lowest price of goods, consumers can get practical tangible benefits from this kind of business idea. In fact, behind the firm commitment of “Everyday parity” , is one of the Wal-mart’s accumulated strong competitive advantage based on the time. Though the price of goods is low, the level of the service that customers can get is low. ②Advantage of time: Wal-mart is always faster than its rivals. If we say money and resources is the most important competitive factors in industrial society, that the advantage of time is the most powerful and competitive strategy of weapons in the information age. When we study the growing history of wal-mart, found that the use of the advantages of the time, had become wal-mart’s competitive weapon. Wal-marts supply system has an incomparable advantages. Wal-mart has 30 distribution center, more than 2000 freight trucks, guaranteeing it can store shelves twice a week on average. Fast delivery, keep wal-mart’s each branch even only few inventory can maintain normal sales, thus greatly save the storage space and cost. The fast transportation system is also the solid foundation of low price strategy. ③The advanced satellite communication network: The construct of satellite communication network system of Wal-marts supply system is finished perfectly. The application of the system make the distribution centers, suppliers, and each branch can form the attachment, in just a few hours to complete the Fill in or Send out orders. The perfect logistics system support, combined with excellent management, makes the time advantage of wal-mart reached the acme. The competitors are two times the average profit level of the above.
