Today we went to climb Xiangshan Mountain. Early in the morning we met at the school gate and went there by bus. At nine o’clock we arrived at the foot of the mountain and started climbing. The mountain was very high and some of us got tired soon, but all of us were very excited. We cheered happily when we got to the top. Unfortunately when we began to walk down the mountain, we were caught in a storm. The teacher asked us to help each other down so we shared our umbrellas and raincoats with each other and walked more cautiously. Finally we all reached the parking lot safely and got on the bus heading back home. Despite the unexpected rain, we still had a good time. Our class went to climbing today. Early in the morning, we arrived by bus. Holding a flag, our monitor led us to the peak of the mountain. On the way to the top of the mountain, everyone of us was tired but happy. The trees were green and the air was fresh, which lighted our eyes and purified our mind. Suddenly, it began to rain. We hurried went down. Some of us took out umbrellas while our monitor used his coat as umbrella to keep classmates from the raindrops. Finally, we went back to the bus, and our monitor was standing near the bus door to make sure that everyone had got on the bus. Though the trip was not complete, it showed me the unity between us.
