So now let’s get into the PowerFlex 750-Series, the PF 755 was released last January and we hope that you have all had a chance to get more familiar with this product. In a way this will be a review for you as you will notice these two drives are quite similar but we will be getting into more detail about where they differ. The 750-Series is the next generation of PowerFlex drives to be developed as a cost-effective solution for our customers by the “build to suit” physical characteristics, easily integrate into an architecture, and with the motor control selections and additional options, provide customers with flexibility to meet their application needs. The PowerFlex 755 is currently available at 400/480V and from 10… to 350 horse power in frame sizes 2-7 The second drive to be released in this series, the PowerFlex 753 and will be available at 400/480V and from 1 to 350 Horse power, bringing this series down to one horse power, in frame sizes 2-7 This series offers a number of options for communications, Safety, feedback, I/O and auxiliary power so that you can help your customers select which drive will fit their needs best. Ok so side by side comparison, you’ve heard me say it over and over, The PowerFlex 753 has 3 option slots with an additional location on the top as you can see for the auxiliary power supply. This extra space allows a customer to take advantage of the full three slots for other options as needed. The PowerFlex 755 has the five slots, and the auxilary power supply consumes one of these slots if it is used. As I mentioned earlier the Safe Speed Monitor option card needs to be installed in slots number 4, 5 or 6 which are along the bottom, and are numbered the same in both drives. And as a reminder, the most of the same option cards can be used in either drive helping to reduce customers inventory and spare parts. In addition, the drive is rated to operate up to 50 degrees C on the open chassis design (IP00) without de-rating and up to 5
