My favorite present I ever got is a small pig box on my seventh birthday. It looks like a pot-bellied pig with a stripe-shaped hole on its back. Mom bought it and helped me to start the first bank of my own. Once I put a coin into it, I feel I am doing something meaningful. I particularly love it not only because my small “bank” looks cute, but it has changed everything on me. Since I owned it, I’ve given up throwing away coins. What’s more, I have learned about the value of them—changes by change. This little gift has taught me how to have a cheap living.
