* As we grow beyond our teenage. We remember the times of fun we had when we were young, when we were in primary school. We had little concern, little responsibilities. We all remember chasing our friends in catch, sneaking around in hide-and-seek and the fun in the playground. As we grow with time, our lives become filled with stress and worries. It is in these times we remember what we had, what we took for granted. As we do so, we look forward to what we can achieve. Since we go to school, we had the pressure of learning, especially in our high school. we lost a lot of opportunities to play, but at the same time we also learned a lot and matured a lot. Some people insist that only today and tomorrow matter. But how much poorer we would be if we really lived by that rule! So much of what we do today is unmeaning and soon forgotten. So much of what we hope to do tomorrow never happens. The past is the bank in which we store our most valuable possession—the memories that give meaning and depth to our lives. At the university, sometimes we will miss the past days, we miss that time of pure friendship, we miss the simple pleasure, and the enthusiasm of learning. Those who truly treasure the past will not bemoan(哀叹) the passing of the good days, because days enshrined(珍藏) in memory are never lost. *
