A Study on Oral English Teaching of Secondary Vocational Education in Rural Areas

Introduction
Oral English teaching of secondary vocational education plays a great important role in communication. While students in some rural areas can not get good oral English education, this paper talks about the main problems and effective strategies in order to help the students in rural areas improve oral ability.
1. The Importance of Oral English Teaching in Secondary Vocational Education in Rural Areas
English as one of a great carrier has become the most widely used language in every field of human life. In such kind of schools, much attention is paid to the students ability to test but their oral ability is much poor. Due to speaking is more and more important to us, how to improve the oral English ability has been an urgent problem to be solved in English teaching in secondary vocational schools.
2. The Current Situation and Main Problems of Oral English Teaching in Secondary Vocational Education in Rural Areas
2.1 The Poor Atmosphere of Oral English Teaching and the Lack of Necessary Language Environment
The students are learning English in the wrong language environment, there is little chance of saying English with other people except few weekly limited classes at school. Such English language environment seriously getting in the way of the development of the students’ listening and speaking ability, at the same time, the spoken teaching material is also poor.
2.2 Little Attention to the Teaching of Oral English from Some Schools and the Teachers
The teachers still focus on staying in the explanation of language points while oral English training is only as a mere formal
