It is one of the most important areas for the human understand of the world. Color does not only have physical attributes but also have rich cultural connotation. However, as English and Chinese belong to two different cultural languages. The two nation’s think of the same color are in common, sometimes are different, and sometimes is opposite completely. So when we translate the sentences with colors, we must understand its real meaning. Because sometimes color words does not be described the colors. But translate the other meanings. So this will compare the similarities and differences for part of English and Chinese color words in the language features and cultural significance. Under we have better understanding then discuss the translation of words. In across cultural interaction, because of different race, different culture background or although belong to together a race, same culture background, the cent belongs to different and social group or hierarchical member in societies, feels to know to every kind of color sign to is different. This kind of is different to have the positive meaning on the linguistics, it make the color phrase have various association of thoughts meaning.
