初三英语Unit 4 Lesson 13——Lesson 16人教朗文版 【同步教育信息】 一. 本周教学内容： Unit 4 Lesson 13——Lesson 16 （一）词汇 1. except prep .除……之外——not including , but not e.g. I’m free every day except today . 除了今天以外我每天都有空。 Everyone in our class except Fang has gone to the cinema . 我们班除了芳以外，人人都去电影院了。 Nobody was late except me . 除我以外无人迟到。 2. rush v.冲、奔跑——go or come , do sth. with violence or speed . e.g. The children rushed out of the school gate . 孩子们争先恐后地跑出学校大门。 注意：在它的词尾加上ed后可以用作形容词，表示“急速行进的”之意。 e. g. When you walk on the street , you can see many rushed cars . 当你走在大街上时，会看到许多快速行驶的小汽车。 It’s such cheaper and far more enjoyable than a rushed trip by air . 坐火车比坐快速行驶的飞机更便宜、更有趣。 3. comfortable adj.舒适的，舒服的——giving comfort to the body e.g. How comfortable the sofa is ! 这张沙发真舒服啊！ The train was quite comfortable , and there weren’t too many people in their sleeping car . 火车里非常舒适，而且在卧铺车厢人不多。 4. offer v. n.拿出，提供——to give a chance to have e.g. Please offer some coffee to me .= Please offer me some coffee . 请给我倒些咖啡。 He offered us much help when we studied at that school . 我们在那所学校学习期间，他给我们提供了很多帮助。 The conductor kept coming to offer them hot water and selling them magazines . 列车员不断来给他们送来热水，向他们卖杂志。 5. click n.卡嗒声 v.发出卡嗒声——make a short , sharp sound (like that of a key turning in a lock ): the sound the train makes as it goes over the tracks . e.g. He listened to the click of the rails and then fell fast asleep . 他听着铁轨的咔哒声，很快就睡着了。 The soldier clicked his heels and saluted . 士兵两足跟咔嗒一声立正并敬礼。 6. practise v.实践，练习——do sth. repeatedly or regularly in order to become skillful . e.g. A young man practised speaking English with Mr Green . 一个年青小伙子和格林先生练习说英语。 She practises playing the violin every day . 她每天练习拉小拉琴。 （二）课文分析 1. I hope to see him as soon as possible .我希望能尽快见到他。 as soon as possible是“尽快”之意。 e.g. Come here as soon as possible . 尽快到这里来。 Please
