The official count showed that there were 114 missing and 3,143 people injured in the 6.5-magnitude earthquake. CCTV says that the earthquake was the strongest that hit Yunnan in the recent 14 years, and the epicenter was in Longtoushan town in Yunnan’s Ludian County. It also says the government is sending thousands of tents, folding beds, quilts and coats to the affected area.
