P/S Compare these two pictures. Think about how they are alike. Pair-share with your partner. Write one (adjective) descriptive word on your whiteboard that describes both pictures. A simile is a figure of speech that compares two unlike things using “like” or “as.” Example(s): Cold lemonade is as refreshing as a dip in the pool.
