Background Information Introduction Globalization has become one of those words with the highest frequency of appearance but at the same time it is also a most controversial issue in terms of its content, implication and consequence. Since the early 1990s, globalization has developed rapidly and brought great changes to the world. However, groups of people across the world, for various reasons, oppose globalization and point to the negative effects of globalization. How should we view globalization? What kind of attitudes should we adopt? So when we read this article, we are apt to ask 1) What is the author’s attitude towards globalization? What makes her adopt such an attitude?
