In classroom teaching, taught by teachers is the most important, also essential part. Communication is divided into two parts--Verbal communication and Nonverbal communication. In all the information exchanges, nonverbal communication takes more parts. And body language is an important part of nonverbal communication. While in classroom teaching, especially English teaching, body language plays an important role in it. This paper, explores the influences of the body language in teaching, including influences of the appropriate body language and the inappropriate body language. This paper also points out its four functions of learning English and four forms that teachers often use in English classes. Its aim is to show everyone a further study on body language in English teaching.Hoping to draw teachers attention to all of it.
