TITLE:Schools should teach children academic subjects which will be useful in their future careers. Subjects such as music and sports are not useful. To what extent do you agree or disagree? In a traditional sense, subjects such as music and sports are regarded as a kind of entertainment for children which are not as useful as academics subjects. While others argue that subjects as music and sports can still benefit children. In my opinion, subjects as music and sport can do much good to children. The first reason I think subjects as music and sport are considerable is that they can let students know a sense of persistence. As we all know, keep practicing music and sports is not that easy, especially to children who can not control themselves properly. What’s more, music and sports can also give children a sense of achievement. For example, you can make a performance on the stage or get the first prize on a school sport meeting, which can make you become a focus in other’s eyes. On the contrary, most people think that academic subjects are more important in all schools in China, students have to finish their academic courses such as Chinese, Mathemics, and so on, which may increase the students knowledge and help them do well in the university examination and get into a key school. In some people’s minds, a key school means you have the ability to have a better life in the future than others. As a children do not have much time, if they get themselves doing Maths problems all the time, they may not have time learning others. That’s why, academic subjects are more popular than subjects as music and sports. As far as I am concerned, children should have their right to choose what they are interested in. If they are fond of these subjects, they are certain to do well in them. What’s more, music and sports are also fantastic lessons to improve children’s both intelligence quality and emotional quality which can keep a balance when they grow up. To a large extent, I di
