Lead In Give several questions for the students to think of and discuss to lead in Reading For example: 1) What do you think of fast food? 2) Is it a kind of junk food or healthy and nutritious food? Ask the students to express their opinions after reading Getting Ready to Read. Step II. The Text Outline of the text. (List the key words or sentences of each part.) Details and language points. Explain the important words, phrases and patterns of each paragraph. Paraphrases of difficult sentences in the text. Ask the students to discuss and try to give the main idea of each paragraph and a summary of the whole text.
