Module 2 Unit 1 Cultural relics Period 2 Reading Teaching Goals: 1. To learn about cultural relics. 2. To get to know something about the Amber Room. 3. To improve their reading abilities. Teaching Procedures: Step 1 Leading-in Step 2. Reading Purpose: To let Ss know about what happened to the Amber Room. 1. Listen to the recording of the text In Search Of The Amber Room twice. Pay attention to the pronunciation of each word and the pauses within each sentence. 2.
