6th Grade Science Westgate Christian Academy The 6th grade science curriculum aligns with the Show-Me Standards according to the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. (For more information, visit .) The course is hands-on and inquiry-based, providing students with a solid foundation in life, earth, and physical science which will be built upon in 7th and 8th grade. Lab work and experimental design are a large part of the course. Both the leading scientific theories and Creation science will be addressed, with the Bible serving as the ultimate authority. Students will learn ways to defend their faith from both a scientific and Biblical point of view.
