School-Wide Positive Behavior Supports (SWPBS) provides an organizational approach or framework for improving the social behavior climate of the schools and supporting or enhancing the impact of academic instruction on achievement and increasing proactive (positive/preventive) management. SWPBS is comprised of evidence-based behavioral interventions and practices that can be implemented by real users to effectively address and support the socially and educationally important behavioral needs of students and their families.
