Whether the communication line, main cable, well, pore, communication base station, wifi hot spot, or other equipment distribution and geographical position has the close relation. Along with the communication technology and the development of broadband network, communication infrastructure management and communication operation and so on various aspects demand increase. GIS in communication field will play a more important role, and will face some new problems to be solved. The traditional management information system can only provide the management objects properties management, namely only pointed out that object what, and cannot express object where, so it cant realize space objects visual management. Spatial database technology just make up for it. Spatial database technology in telecom, communication field of large-scale use, also will further promote the telecommunications and other related to the healthy development of the industry. Key words: GIS；Spatial database technology；Data model；Infrastructure management 0 前 言* 本文在GIS数据库设计理论与方法的指导下，主要通过对Geodatabase数据模型的介绍与研究，讨论该数据模型在电信行业信息管理方面所起到的主导作用，实现对各种尺度、不同数据来源的数据有效组织和统一管理。 1 电信基础设施空间数据库设计理论与技术基础 1.1 电信基础设施空间数据库概念设计 电信基础设施空间数据库概念设计是将需求分析阶段得到的用户需求抽象为信息结构的过程。概念设计所得到的模型是现实世界的一个真实模型，便于不熟悉计算机的用户理解。是数据库设计人员与用户之间沟通的一种有效模型。 1.1.1 电信基础设施空间地理
