1. As we all know, the environment around us is getting worse . In some places ,rivers are polluted ,so we can’t see fish in it. Farmers can’t use water for their crops. Some people even have no clean water to drink. Pollution from factories spreads over cities and villages. There are so many cars on the roads. They use so much oil and cause pollution as well . So I think we must do something to protect the environment. As a middle school student, we have to think of things we can do. For example, we can’t throw rubbish here and there and we should never pour waste into rivers. If possible, we should go to school on foot or by bike instead of taking a taxi, because taxis make lots of pollution. We should use things as long as possible. We can use cloth bags instead of plastic bags when we go shopping. And we’d better use both sides of the paper when we write. We should never forget to turn off the lights when we leave the classroom. Though pollution is heavy now, I don’t think it’s hopeless. If everyone starts to do something, the world will be saved. Spring Festival is the most important in China. It usually comes in February or January.It’s a time for the familly to get together . And we uaually get ready for it. Before the Spring Festival, everyone is busying buying presents and cleaning houses. My father and I go to buy New Year’s Pictures and do some Spring Festival shopping . On the evening before the Spring Festival, families get together and have a big meal. Dumplings are the most traditional food. After dinner, we often watch the gala(春节联欢会）on TV . Children can also get some lucky money from their parents. . On the first day of the New Year, all the people, old and young, put on new clothes and visit relatives(亲戚） and friends and wish each other good luck in the new year.
