Focus of the lesson and predicted area of difficulty To use flow charts to organize ideas when writing. IV. Teaching procedures Step 1 Why should we use flow charts? Lead-in T: Let?s do some brainstorming and talk about the advantages of using flow charts when we write. 【设计意图:通过头脑风暴探讨使用流程图的好处,激发学生的学习兴趣。】 Step 2 What is a flow chart? 1. Tips for making a fruit salad T: Here is an article about the tips for making a fruit salad. Can you use flow charts to show the three steps of making a fruit salad? T: As we can see, the flow chart helps us get a clear idea of the article. 2. Definition of flow charts 【设计意图:通过利用流程图归纳做水果沙拉的三个步骤,导入流程图的概念,强化流程图的作用。】 Step 3 How to use flow charts? 1. Use flow charts to improve listening skills T: You may like eating sandwiches. But do you know how to make a sandwich?
