《任务型教学目标和方法
Aims
基础教育阶段英语课程的目标是以学生语言技能,语言知识,情感态度,学习策略和文化意识的发展为基础,培养学生英语综合运用能力《全日制义务教育普通高级中学英语课程英语标准(实验稿)》,将新课程目标设定九个级别并以学生“能够做某事”具体描述各级别的要求。
So teaching English as a second language is to enable students to acquire basic language skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing), to develop students’ positive attitudes towards learning English, to contribute the students’ intellectual, personal growth.
Then go for it is written according to the new standard of English teaching. New Standard inquires that the students in Chinese learn English firstly in order to communicate with it, which means, to put it into practice. So this textbook is designed to serve for the future using of language skills. Go for it keeps up with the latest development of English learning and takes a whole cognition about English teaching.
Besides practicing English in its usual way, Go for it also is going to teach in emotional aspect in students. That is to say, we should not only need to teach them how to speak and use English, but also to care for their psychological development and health, also their need to improve in personal character.
For example, in book for grade 9 in unit2-I used to be afraid of and unit8-When is your birthday, the text leads the student to pay attention to the personal thought of each one, and then it will be benefit for them to get on with. In another point, when teaching ‘when is your birthday’, the student will not only think about their own birthday, but also their parents’ birthdays. Of course, the teachers should give proper guide. Then it will improve the students in emotional way in that they know better how to respect and care about their elders.
Another important point in judge a teaching material in aims is that whether it is designed to the needs of students.
