Miss Xu has a pet. Her pet is a bird. His name is Polly. The bird is blue, green and yellow. Polly lives in a cage . There are two bowls in the cage . One bowl has water in it . One bowl has bird’s food in it . Polly’s cage has a door . Polly cannot open the door . He can not get out of(逃出）his cage . He is sitting on a stick and he is singing now. One day Miss Xu opens the door of Polly’s cage . She puts some fresh(新鲜) food in the food bowl . She puts some clean water in the water bowl . Then the telephone rings . Miss Xu runs to the telephone . She forgets（忘记） to shut the door of the cage . Polly sees the open door . He flies(fly) out of the cage . He flies here and there. He is happy . Mr Zhang has a pet , too . He has a cat . Her name is Mimi . She eats fish and drinks milk . She eats birds , too . She is a naughty（顽皮） cat . Mimi goes into the living room .
