统计学专业培养方案（071601）（Statistics 071601）一、专业简介（Ⅰ、Major Introduction）统计学专业培养具有良好的数学素养，掌握统计学的基本原理和方法，能熟练地运用计算机分析数据，能在企业、事业单位和经济管理部门从事数据分析、信息提取，进行推断、预测和决策的专门人才。同时也为科研教育部门培养从事统计学研究和教学的专门人才。主要专业方向为（1）应用统计与统计信息管理；（2）保险精算与金融工程。主要课程有：概率论、数理统计、经济计量学、多元统计分析、随机过程基础、时间序列分析、利息理论、保险精算、统计软件和程序设计。The statistics program aims to provide the students the fundamental theoretical and practical trainings in statistical areas at undergraduate level. At their graduation, the students will acquire, in addition to advanced mathematical background training, profound knowledge of elementary statistic and means of empirical, theoretical and computational techniques. They would be acquainted with the general quantitative analysis techniques in data analysis, signal processing and statistical decisions. They are also competitive in pursing positions in research institutions and/or at colleges. There are two emphases for the program: (I) Applied Statistics and Statistical Information Management and (II) Actuary and Financial Engineering. The main courses offered in the program are Probability, Mathematical Statistics, Econometrics, Basics of Random Processes, Time Series Analysis, Interest Theory, Actuarial Mathematics, Statistical Software and Programming Designing.二、培养目标（Ⅱ、Academic Objectives）培养具有统计学所需要的良好的数学基础，并具有经济学或其他相关学科的专门知识，掌握统计学的基本理论和方法，能熟练地运用计算机分析数据的高级专门人才，能在经济、管理、医疗卫生等部门从事统计调查、统计信息管理、数量分析等开发、应用和管理工作，或在科研、教育部门从事研究和教学工作，或能继续攻读研究生学位。The objective for the program is to provide sound mathematical training needed for statistics and profound knowledge of economy or other related branches. At their graduation, the students will acquire, in addition to advanced mathematical background training, profound knowledge of elementary statistic and means of empirical, theoretical and computational tools.
