SAFETY FIRST!Annex 7 of VPO.SAFE.3.1.02.Working at Heights:高空作业SAFETY Requirements for NEW ROOFS新屋顶安全要求Purpose目的To ensure that new roofs comply with basic safety requirements so that works and inspections on these roofs can be done safely.确保新屋顶符合安全要求以便在屋顶能够安全地进行工作及检查Scope Definitions范围及定义Scope范围: Applicable for all roofs and canopies built after 31-01-2012适用于2012年1月31号后建的屋顶和顶棚Applicable if important upgrades on existing roofs as of 31-01-2012适用于2012年1月31号之后的现有屋顶上的重大改造Definitions:Flat or low-slope roof: horizontal roof or roof with maximum slope of 14 degrees, slope less than or equal to 3:12(Definition by National Roofing Contractors Association – U.S.)平坦的或者低斜度的屋顶：水平屋顶或者坡度小于14度的屋顶，坡度小于或者等于3:12Sufficient degree of structural strength足够的结构强度: Minimum roof load of 100 kg/m2 + snow load (depending on local climate / local legislation)至少承重100 kg/m2及雪的重量（取决于当地气候/当地法规）Note: roofs can deteriorate by time. In order to guarantee the integrity of (non-) fragile roofs, they need to be inspected and maintained in accordance with the requirements of the VPO Maintenance Pillar.注意：屋顶会随着时间恶化。为了保证非易碎屋顶的完整性，需要根据VPO维护支柱进行检查及维护。Requirements要求3.1.
