Santa Claus started with a real person, Saint Nicholas, the fourth century: According to tradition, he was born in the ancient seaport city of Turkey in about 300A.D. Born an only child of a wealthy family, At an early age his parents both died and when young, he traveled to Palestine and Egypt. Santa Claus punished naughty children and rewarded good ones ,the poor and unhappy with presents. the popular view of Santa is the sleigh, the reindeer , the chimney, and the bag of toys.
