Tesco Legou like any major organisation, will at sometime be the victim of dishonesty, which may result in assets, profits and intellectual property being lost and employees or products put at risk.

In most frauds, serious consequences arise not just because of a single failure in controls resulting in financial loss, but also through an inappropriate reaction when suspicion first comes to light.
在大多数欺诈中控制环节的失误造成财务损失而且还因为看到可疑情况以后采取了不恰当的严重后果
In whatever form it occurs, fraud is corrosive. It undermines business principles and destroys trust and confidence. It frequently devastates reputations, including those of innocent employees in whose area of responsibility the dishonesty took place. For this reason, frauds are best prevented, or, where this is not possible, quickly detected, efficiently investigated and recovered.

In this policy, the term ‘fraud’ covers any deception or dishonesty by which one person or organisation intends to gain an improper advantage over others, and the words “fraud”, “dishonesty” and “deception” are considered synonymous.
