高三英语暑假自主学习讲义（一） （模块一 定语从句） 编写 沈霞萍 审核 钱秋英 学校 班级 姓名 学号 定语从句Attributive Clause概述 【知识梳理】 定语从句是由关系代词或关系副词引导的从句，其作用是作定语修饰主句的某个名词成分。一般紧跟在它所修饰的先行词后面。引导定语从句的关联词称为关系词，关系词有关系代词和关系副词。关系代词有that, which, who, whom, whose, as等；关系副词有where, when, why等。关系词常有三个作用：1、引导定语从句。2、代替先行词。3、在定语从句中担当一个成分。 关系代词： 用于限制性或非限制性定语从句 只用于限制性定语从句 代替人 代替物 既指人又指物 主语 who which that 宾语 Whom（可省） Which（可省） that（可省） 定语 Whose=of whom Whose=of which 关系副词在从句中充当状语，可以表示时间、地点或原因： 关系副词 被替代的先行词 在从句中作用 when=介词+which 表示时间的名词 时间状语 where=介词+which 表示地点的名词 地点状语 why= for which 只有reason 原因状语 注意：当先行词是?the way时，后面的定语从句关系词有三种，如: I like the way (that/in which) the teacher gives his lessons. 定语从句的几个注意： 关系代词用that的情况： 当先行词是all, everything, something, anything, nothing, none, few, little, much等不定代词；先行词被all, every, some, any, no, few, little等修饰时；先行词被形容词最高级或有序数词the first, the second, the last修饰时；先行词既有人又有物时；当主语由who或者which引导的特殊疑问句时，为避免重复，常用that引导；当关系代词在定语从句中做表语时。 关系代词常用which的情况： 用于非限制性定语从句中，which代替主句中的某个先行词或者前面整个句子。 介词提前时，只用which。如：This is the book from which I have learned a lot. as 引导的定语从句： 当先行词有the same, such, as, so修饰时，要用as来引导定语从句。构成the same …as; such…as; as …as; so… as结构。 as 还可以引导非限制性定语从句。注：As和which都可以指代主句中的一个先行词或整个句子的内容，有时可以互换。 注意：as引导的非限制性定语从句可以放在主句的前面，中间或者末尾。而which引导的非限制性定语从句只能放在主句的后面。 as引导的从句有“正如”、“正像”之意，而which则无此意。如: as is known to all; as is expected; as is mentioned; as everybody can see等。 【典型例题分析】： The news ______ we heard is not true.
