February 2007: accept the compilation task, writing format and other relevant requirements regarding the best practices of SLM in China drylands. 2.2007年4-7月:中国LADA工作组提出技术手册编写初步提纲，并征求有关部门和专家的意见，形成最终编写大纲，共54个技术模式，覆盖了13个技术领域，11个省区。 April - July 2007: China LADA team proposed a preliminary outline of the Best Practices Manual, and solicited the views of experts and sectors concerned, formed a final outline with a total of 54 technical models, covering 13 areas, 11 provinces and autonomous regions. 3.2007年7-8月：聘请编写技术专家30余人，涉及农、林、水、土地、牧业等多个领域，并对专家进行技术培训。 July-August 2007 : Invited more than 30 experts involved in agriculture, forestry, water, land, animal husbandry, and other areas to participate in compiling. And a technical training was held for these experts focus on WOCAT questionnaire format. 2007年9-10月：外业调查，照片、数据资料收集，开始编写技术模式； September-October 2007: field investigation, photos, data collection, beginning the preparation of technical model; 2007年11月：专家提交模式初稿，根据LADA工作组初审意见修改完善，形成模式手册一稿； November 2007: Submitting the draft technical model from individual experts, and forming a draft manual of Best Practices of SLM after improving according to the preliminary views of the LADA Work Team; 2007年12月：模式手册一稿征求WOCAT专家和治沙专家意见，根据专家意见修改、完善，2008年1月初期形成技术手册二稿； December 2007: seeking expert advice on the initial draft from the sand control experts and WOCAT experts to revise and improve; forming the second draft early in January 2008; 2008年1-3月：模式手册二稿提交治沙专家审查，根据专家意见再次修改、完善。3月底，汇总整理后形成技术手册三稿（最近一稿）。 January-March 2008: sending the second draft manual to the experts to review, amen
