Step 1. Create a New Database Create a new database and set the model preferences. File / New. Enter car_body for File Name. Click on OK. Under New Model Preferences select Based on Model for Tolerance. Set Analysis Code and Analysis Type to MSC.Nastran and Structural respectively. Click on OK. Step 2. Continuing on the Group / Create… form, enter engine for Group Name. Select the 3D Property Types (Solid). Click on Apply. Step 4. Create a Group For Each Property Set Create a group for each of the property sets in the database. Change Action and Method to Create and Property Set, respectively. Change Single Group to Multiple Groups. Select everything under Property Sets. Click on Apply. Step 5. Modify Each Group by Renaming Identify each group, and rename it.
