梵净山Fanjing Mountain 梵净山国家级自然保护区，于1986被列为国家储备，同时加入国际人与生物圈保护区网联合国教科文组织。它坐落在一个包括江口，松桃，印江三个县的贵州省的东北部地区。占地面积567平方公里，21公里宽，27公里长。自十六世纪起梵净山以其佛教地位在中国的名山中占有举足轻重的地位，也是一个作为中国著名的佛教名山。 Fanjing Mountain National Nature Reserve was classified as the national reserve and joined the International Man and Biosphere Reserve Network of UNESCO in 1986. It is located in an area comprising parts of three counties of Jiangkou, Yinjiang and Songtao in the northeast of Guizhou Province. With an area of 567 square kilometers, the Reserve is 21 kilometers wide and 27 kilometers long. Fanjing Mountain is in the alpine monsoon climate of mid sub-tropic zone. Its not frigid in the winter and not hot in the summer. The mountain rises abruptly and the direction of wind changes drastically; sea of clouds and cloud of falls often appear as a result. Also interesting is that a rainbow Buddhist Halo often appears which can compare favorably with that of Mt.
