本节(课)教学目标 知识和技能:
Knowledge aims:
a.To lear the vocabularies such as ancient,competitor,compete,takepart in,medal,host,magical,interview,Greece,athlete,admit,set,slave,stadium,gymnasium,as well as, and replace,etc.
b.To learn some important reading strategies like predicion,skimming,scanning and summarizing.
2. Ability aims:
a. to practise the Ss’ listening ,speaking, and reading ability
b. to train the Ss’ ability to search for some information
c. to train the Ss to be active,independent ,coorperative,and inquisitiv.
过程和方法:
1.Test the students’ basic knowledge of the ancient and modern Olympic Games by a quiz and a bingo game,esp the characteristics and the differences between the ancient and modern Olympics,thus helping them to show deeper concern on the Olympics.
