1. fetch v. (去)拿来,取来

◆He fetched a pen for me. 他给我拿来一支钢笔。
◆探究总结……给…… fetch sth. for sb. 去拿……给…… fetch sth. from somewhere 去某地拿来某物 (1)bring意为“拿来,带来”,指将人、物从远处带到说话地点来。
(2)take意为“拿走,带走”,和bring方向相反,指将人、物从说话点带
到远处。take sth. with sb. 随身携带某物
(3)fetch意为“去拿来,去带来”,指到远处把某人、物带到说话地点,强调往返的过程。
(4)carry 意为“搬,扛”,无方向性,有负重之意”。

Eg She was hanged for murder. 他因谋杀罪而被绞死。
