Unit 11 Could you please tell me where the restrooms are ? 【教学目标】 知识目标 1. 掌握以下词汇: fascinating,convenient,safe,restroom,inexpensive,uncrowded,delicious, interesting,beautiful. 2. 掌握并会运用下列重要短语和句型: a good place to eat, of course. Can you tell me where there’s a good place to eat? What kind of food do you like? 能力目标 1.Train students’ writing and speaking ability. 2.Train students’ ability to understand the target language in spoken conversation. 3.Train students’ ability to use the target language 情感目标 培养学生有礼貌的问答 【重点难点】 教学重点: a good place to eat, of course. Can you tell me where there’s a good place to eat? What kind of food do you like? 教学难点: How to improve students’ writing and speaking ability. How to use the target language. 【教学过程】 I. Warm up 1、检查生词预习 听写本课主要单词和短语,可以找两名学生写到黑板上,其他同学以小组为单位更正。 然后领读,齐读,个别学生读,确保学生准确发音。单词和短语有: fascinating,convenient,safe,restroom, inexpensive,uncrowded,delicious,interesting, beautiful. a good place to eat, of course. 2、自由交谈 1)复习巩固; (1) 通过询问,复习所学内容。 —Where do you usually hang out with your friends ? —We usually go to ----. —Why do you go to -----? —.Because ------,How about you ? (2) 检查Section A中的句子,让学生翻译重点句子。 II. Pre-task (预备任务) 1. Research(新知探究): 1) Show the new words to the students. 2) Ask a student to read, then the other students follow him / her . 3) Read, then correct the pronunciations and learn them. 4) Have a dictation. 2. Task1: 教师向学生询问问题: Have you ever been to a restroom/museum/Lianhuashan Park? What do you think of it? Have you ever taken subway? 3. Task 2:创设情景,利用多媒体图片出示有关 restroom,museum,restaurant,park,subway,mall的照片。 III. While-task (同步任务) 1、教材内容。 1a:Go through the instructions with the class.that students don’t understand. If so, help students to explain the meaning of the word.
