Everyone is here Ask a few students how they get to school.(according the fact ,Most of us less than use two kinds of transportation to get to school) Step 2. Lead-in 1.T: How does Li Lei get to school? S: First, he rides his bicycle to the bus station. Then he takes the early bus to school. 2.T: Do you know the bus station? It’s a place where trains stop here. Today we’ll study some other “stations”. Step 3. Teaching Section B-1a , 1b A bus stop is a place on a road where buses stop to let passengers on and off. A bus station is a place where buses stay there . 1.Let the Ss read the words and ask them to finish (1a).At last check out theirs. 2.1b Pairwork. First read the example and then ask them to make their own dialogues to tell your parter how you get to school,using the phrases in 1a.(Ask them to use two kinds of transportationto get to school.) e.g Step 4. SectionB-2a, 2b 1.Ask one student to read the information in 2a and then T: Let’s listen to the conversation between Tina and Thomas. What does Thomas want to know about Nina? Here is a list of information that Thomas wants to know. I’ll ask some students to read lines to the class. Then listen carefully and put a checkmark in front of each thing that Thomas wants to know.   2. Check out the students. 3. Ask the students to listen carefully and put a checkmark next to the picture that shows how Nina gets to school. Check out the answers   4.Listen to the tapes again and look at the tapescripts . Step 5. Section B-2c(Group work )   1. Ask the students to pay more attention to the sentence starters: She…; Next, she…; Then, she… in the box and use them in your conversation.
