台灣被動電子元件製造業經營績效的實證研究 The Empirical Study of the Business Performance for Passive Device Manufacturing Industry in Taiwan 陳相如 Hsiang-Ju Chen Shen-Ho Chang Yuan-Hui Tsai 1交通大學經營管理研究所博士候選人、德霖技術學院企管系講師2逢甲大學會計系副教授3致理技術學院財務金融系助理教授 台北市中正區100忠孝西路一段118號4樓 Tel: (02 Fax: (02 E-mail: hjc526@.tw 摘要 基於台灣位居全球第二大被動電子元件供應國’s Electronic Passive Devices Manufacturing as the 2nd largest supplier in the world, this study utilizes the financial data of 137 companies from the sampling survey data files of the 2001 Taiwan Industry Census to examine their business performance and bottleneck both in terms of the dimension of specialized operation and synthetic management, and the dimension of ego-fulfillment and in-company altruistic fulfillment holistically. Among four different types of companies, this study discovers the corresponding relation for the large-scale companies are good at synthetic management, but the small- and medium-scale companies are good at specialized operation; also the corresponding relation that the business bottleneck for the large-scale companies is on specialized operation, but for the small- and medium-scale companies is on synthetic management. The critical chain where the smallest value of correlation coefficient locates can be provided to these companies to improve business performance. At last, the relative importance and influence of specific individual company such as Hon Hai Precision Industry Company on industry analysis is witnessed from the performance comparison of two types of large-scale companies.
