Do you like dogs? Can you run fast/ jump high/ do your homework/ read English books? Do you want to know something about me? (introduce my hometown and my favourite animal) 2. Pre-teaching difficult key words (1) useful I like dogs. Dogs can play with children/ help the police/ save people’s lives/ look after the house. They are very useful. (2) programme Dogs are useful. TV programmes are useful, too. (3) Brainstorm: What do you want to know? Amy, Ling Ling and Sam are watching a TV programme, too. What do you want to know from this picture? Step 2 During-reading activities 1. Watch the 1st and 2nd dialogues, then answer: What’s the programme about? 2. blind What’s the matter with this man? (He can’t see.)
