Ask the children to write out the ordinal numbers 11th to 31th. The teacher presents the words. Words to learn Review the story with the children. Have the children read or tell the story again by themselves. This time focus on the words in the text. You need to explain the meaning of checked, said, keep in the story. The children are not expected to be able to use these words at this lesson. Have the children look at the calendar on top of page 40. Model the names of the months and have the children repeat.
