Let’s talk and let’s play in PartA
Teaching aims and demands:
Knowledge and skills:
Hold these words about animals,such as duck,dog,bear etc.
Ss can use this sentence pattern“What’s this? It’s a ......” to do an ask and answer practice.
Culture their abilities about observation, imitation and communication.
Process and methods:
Process:
Warm-up→lead-in→presentation→practice→consolidation→ practice→homework.
Methods:
Play method,task-based teaching method, communicative language teaching.
Emotion,attitude and values:
Love animals and protect animals.
Teaching procedures:
Warm-up:
Teacher and Ss sing the song “Hello” together.
Do an oral practice:
T shows cards about Zoom and Zip, Ss should say “hello” to them.
Lead-in:
T says:“Now, can you tell me:‘What’s this?’....... ‘Yes, it’s zoom. But what’s Zoom?’”(T should translate.)
Presentation:
T says “Yes, it’s a bear. Now please look at these picture,‘what’s this ? .... It’s a bear.’please follow me to read:‘bear,bear,熊。’”( T shows pictures to them.→using the same method to teach the other words:duck,dog.→learn the sentence pattern:“What’s this ? It’s a bear/ duck/ dog.”)
Practice:
Using these way to learn words:
Chant:
bear,bear,熊;dog,dog, 狗;duck,duck,鸭子。
Listen to the tape and speak out english words.
Look at the pictures and speak out english words.
Look at some part of the pictures and speak out english words.
Do actions and read words.
Using these way to learn sentences:
Follow T to read.
Do actions and read.
Read together.
Consolidation:
T speaks Chinese, Ss speak English.
Exercise:
Read and match:
duck 狗
dog 鸭子
bear 熊
Homework:
Do exercise on their exercise books.
Blackboard design:
