Task-based syllabuses 任务型教学大纲 一、Definition 1、What is “task” in language teaching? The task in language teaching refer to activities and behaviors the learner do in the process of understanding, handling and using language. 语言教学中的任务指学习者在理解、处理和使用语言的过程中完成的活动或执行的行为。(eg.) 2、What is task-based language teaching (TBLT)? TBLT refers to an approach based on the use of tasks on the care unit of instruction in language. TBLT is a further development of Communicative Language Teaching. It share the same beliefs, as language should be learned as close as possible to how it is used in real life. However, it has stressed the importance to combine form-focused teaching with communication-focused teaching. 三、 Task-based syllabuses Authors who favor task-based syllabuses organize materials around different types of tasks that the students might be required to perform in the language. Such tasks might include reading job ads, making appointments, filling out a job application, solving a problem, and so on. 四、Advantage and disadvantage Advantage 1.Make the real use of language more clear 2.Practice the ability of using language in life 3.Make learners more active and improve learning efficiency Disadvantage it is hard to control the degree of difficulty Content syllabuses 内容型教学大纲 一、What is content syllabuses Both of the task-based syllabuses and content syllabuses are belong to the process-oriented syllabuses. It is similar to the task-based syllabuses. There are many task-based learning activities in the process of learning, such as discussion. 二、characteristic Arrange teaching according to the content. The content here doesn’t means grammar, vocabulary, function or notion. It is refer to the related contents of every subject. Such as technology, society, computer and so on. It introduces other subjects into second language learning or even to learn other subjects in the second language. 三、Advantage and disadvantage Advantage
