Unit 1 Friendship
The first period
The analysis of teaching materials(教材分析):
1. Some sentences for the students to recite.
2. Half of the words and phrases in this unit, such as upset, concern, series, dislike, item, add;addition;additional, ignore;ignorance, calm;calmly;calmness, German;Germany, outdoors;outdoor;indoors and indoor.
The analysis of students(学情分析):
To most of our students, I don’t think they are interested in English. That is to say, we must pay more attention to those students—students Band C. First, we must raise their interest. Second, we must begin with the Link Verbs.
Teaching goals for the students(教学目标):
To students A, after this period, they must know how to use the followings:
1. Vocabularies: Concern, dislike, add, calm, German, outdoors.
2. Grammar: Link verbs.
3. Ten sentences in step one.
To students B, they must come to know 1 and 2.
To students C, they must learn concern, dislike and link verbs.
Teaching important and difficult points(教学重难点):Link verbs
Teaching procedures(教学流程):
Step One: 1. Ask the students to read the followings on Page One:
1.Honesty is the best policy. 2.Leaves turn yellow in autumn. 3.Is your mother feeling any better? 4.The manager will be free this evening. 5.How interesting his trip to the World Expo sounds! 6.The news of his death proved (to be) true at last. 7.Your parents look worried about your future. 8.Children fell asleep quickly in their separate beds. 9.It feels good to listen to some light music between classes. 10.These off-farm workers in our city usually get paid by the day. 2. Ask the students to tell us something about the link verbs.
①常用的连系动词有:be;remain(仍然是);prove(证明是);seem;appear(显得);become;get;grow;turn;come;fall;hold;keep;stand;stay(保持);sound(听起来);look(看上去);smell(闻起来); taste(尝起来);feel(感觉、摸起来)等。
②常跟在连系动词后作表语的有形容词、名词、分词、不定式、副词、介词短语、从句。
板书Eg: We must ________ calm when we angry.
