Dear Prof. Deng, My very best congratulations for the 50 ys. anniversary of your institute. I think it had very difficult times in the past. I really would like to participate personally at this birthday. But the distance to you is the final argument to stop any thoughts with respect to this. However, I wish you a good hand in leading your institute; hopefully it can bring forward physics in a way that it will contribute to the welfare of the Chinese people as well as of the people worldwide.
