邓昕论文摘要
迁移理论与学生MOODLE写作中英语动名搭配错误分析
Transfer Theory and English Verb-Noun Collocation Errors Analysis in MOODLE Writings

1 Introduction
From previous research on English V-N collocations, it is not hard to see that English V-N collocations still pose great difficulty for EFL learners. Although a series of paper-based studies are carried out in order to find out what causes English V-N collocation errors and how they influence the accuracy on collocation usage in a negative way, researchers still cannot present the specific reasons for these problems in detail. This research, based itself on the data collected from Internet-based corpus – MOODLE, attempts to answer the questions as follows: 1) How many types of English V-N collocation errors can be categorized and what specific display are they? 2) What is the role played by the L1 transfer in leading to English V-N collocation errors and why does it typically make the specific display? 3) What measures should be taken to avoid such errors to a great advantage in English learning? By means of specifying and clarifying some discussions about English V-N collocation errors with the help of theoretical and empirical support from previous studies and plentiful examples collected from MOODLE, this paper aims to renew the current English V-N collocation studies and put forward several suggestions for English teaching and learning.
2 Literature review
