This section of the website is designed to provide an overview of oil and gas exploration and production for the nontechnical audience. This section is just an introduction, and includes a generalization of the techniques used. If you would like to learn more about the specific technologies or processes involved, there are additional resources on this website, along with links to other information sources. 1 This was not the first well drilled.?
