The present study was conducted jointly by the Government of Tajikistan (National Commission of Child Rights) and UNICEF Tajikistan, supported by a team of the Maastricht Graduate School of Governance (Maastricht University), The Netherlands: Franziska Gassmann, Team Leader, David Tobis, Consultant, and Patricia Huitrón and David G. Rodríguez, Research Fellows .
To conduct this study, the team benefited greatly from the support provided by officials of the Government of Tajikistan, including the Deputy Chair of the National Commission on Child Rights (NCCR); staff from the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection (MoLSP), Ministry of Finance (MoF), Ministry of Health (MoH), Ministry of Education (MoE) and from the Ministry of Justice (MoJ); authorities at the district level, specially from the departments of Education (DoE), Health (DoH), Labour and Social Protection (DoLSP), the Guardianship Commission (GC) and the Commission on Minors (CoM).
