CHAPTER7—IN THE FOREST Whether I saw what I thought I saw. Black Dan and I have explored every path in that forest. We’ve seen squirrels and red deer and blue jays. But we’ve never seen even a flicker of a ghost dog’s tail. BLACK DAN布莱克 丹 切尔西 CHAPTER 4—THE HOWLING My brain was like a scribble—I couldn’t think straight.so I did another stupid thing. I looked around—couldn’t see him. I thought, “ he must have got out somehow.” so I opened the front door! CHAPTER 4—THE HOWLING 我的脑子里乱成一团—已经不清醒了。所以我做了另外一件愚蠢的事。我环视四周—看不见它的踪影。我想道“它一定想办法逃出去了!”所以我把前门打开了! CHAPTER 4—THE HOWLING He vanished into the trees. and—oh no—I thought I saw the flicker of fiery eyes! Then they vanished too. Even the howling had stopped. Everything was dark and silent. CHAPTER 4—THE HOWLING How many stupid things did the writer do? Two One was he couldn’t grab Black Dan. the other was he opened the front door. CHAPTER5—SURROUNDED I was frozen up—I couldn’t move. but my mind was suddenly clear as an ice cube. I knew exactly what I’d walked into.
