Rationale This is a CCL/WG-MRA Guidance Document on the requirements for running MRA comparisons and examining CMC claims in Dimensional Metrology after the publication of comparison Final Reports. The MRA requires that CMCs that are published in the KCDB are consistent with the results of the MRA comparisons. Several documents detail the requirements for performing comparisons, preparing, submitting and approving CMCs and re-examination of the CMCs when results of key comparisons become available. Recent documents from the CIPM, now made available on the JCRB website, collect together much of the information into a condensed format. However there is no single document that covers the entire process in full detail, taking into account the particular processes instigated by the CCL through its WG-MRA (and previously through its WGDM).
